For the past few months, PlanetSide 2 has been in beta testing on the PS4. This is coming to an end because PlanetSide 2 is coming to the PS4 on June 23rd in North America.
It first launched on PC since 2012 as a first-person shooter MMO featuring all-out planetary war on a massive scale. “We’ve put a lot of effort into streamlining and improving the feature set so that PS4 players will have the ultimate massive-scale, FPS gaming experience,” says PlanetSide 2 Director of Development Andy Sites. “We’ve also incorporated some unique features that are currently exclusive to the PS4 version, which for example, include the new battle map, Koltyr.”
The game will be a free-to-play game with no membership required, there are in-game microtransactions to purchase weapons, customizations, camos, decals, and more.
