Mighty No. 9, the next game from Mega Man and Dead Rising designer Kenji Inafune might be delayed. Spotted by NeoGAF, listings for the game on online retailers, specifically Amazon, Gamestop and Walmart have all been updated with a placeholder date of 2016.

The game’s digital pages still show a release of September 15, suggesting that this delay might only apply to the physical copies of the game. A representative for Saints Row and Dead Island company Deep Silver, declined to comment on the subject.

Mighty No. 9 is in development for every system of this generation, being available for: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and PC. It is also getting it’s own live-action movie. In the game you play as a robot named Beck who is the only one not infected by a mysterious virus that makes you go crazy.
