Famous rock band Van Halen is finally set to appear in a Rock Band game. Harmonix, the developers of Rock Band, announced on Monday that Rock Band 4 will contain the song “Panama” by the group.
Van Halen had already been on rival game Guitar Hero, scoring its own game titled Guitar Hero: Van Halen. This game featured 25 Van Halen songs and 19 songs from additional artists.
Players will finally be able to jam to this 80’s hit on Rock Band’s default soundtrack. They can also purchase other songs by Van Halen available as downloadable content through the Rock Band Music Store.
Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak had this to say regarding the announcement: “For years we’ve wanted to bring Van Halen’s music to Rock Band. Not only are the songs incredible in their own right, but they’re amazingly fun to play and perform, whether you’re on guitar, bass, drums, or vocals.”
Van Halen fans can expect this game to be released on October 6 for Xbox One and Playstation 4.
