The Black Gate is open. World of Warcraft players can now access the final wing of the Hellfire Citadel raid in raid finder mode. So finally everyone has the chance to take on Archimonde in the finale to the current expansion of the game, Warlords of Draenor. Hellfire Citadel opened it’s doors in June and after four pretty interesting and cool wings we now find ourselves at the top and we get to see the final cutscene, and what happens to Gul’dan, for ourselves.
Archimonde is “one of the original eredar who betrayed the draenei of Argus to take his place as the sinister hand of the dark titan Sargeras, Archimonde the Defiler commands the military might of the Burning Legion. He arrives in Draenor, reaching across space and time, to ensure that the invasion of Azeroth proceeds as planned, and that Gul’dan does not fail his Legion masters.” – wowhead.com
There’s a bunch of item level 685 items that drop as a reward for taking Archimonde down in the raid finder mode including the chest piece for the current set and some good trinkets which will help you boost your gear score if you’re not into raiding normals,heroics or mythics. Also players will receive the Crystallized Fel item which will boost the item level and power of the legendary ring that we received from the Khadgar quests.
The end of the Hellfire Citadel raid brings the story of Warlords of Draenor to a close and sets us up for the next expansion, Legion, that Blizzard recently announced.
