Over the past few decades, many great video game franchises have come into being. With a vast number of wonderful series, it only makes sense that some would inspire those who work on the development of games today. A recent interview with Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata, is proof.

In a special 600th issue of Dengeki PlayStation, many big names in the video game industry, including Keiji Inafune and Tetsuya Nomura, were interviewed. Final Fantasy XV director, Hajime Tabata was among these developers and was asked which video game title he would like to work on. His answer was simple, “The Legend of Zelda series. I’m not quite sure why myself, but a Zelda game made with the technology and know-how of Final Fantasy XV is the game I wish to create as of this moment.”

Would you like to see this Legend of Zelda come to fruition? Let us know in the comments.
