This weekend Xbox 360 users will be able to play online without requiring a gold membership. You will not however, be able to take advantage of other gold membership advantages such as discounts or Games for Gold.
The offer runs from 9th – 11th October, and is open worldwide, so get in as much online freeness as you can.
If like me, you’ve made the leap to PS4 from 360, this could be a good chance to go back and check out some of your old favourites, I’ll be taking advantage by playing some Defiance.
Though I wish Microsoft had chosen to do it when the Star Wars Battlefront beta isn’t happening.
