The acclaimed visual novel Clannad finally has a concrete western release date. Sekai Project, the team localizing the game, has announced the game would release on Steam November 23.

Clannad originally released in Japan in 2004. The game was then adapted by Kyoto Animation into an anime during 2007. The game and anime quickly became know for their heart-wrenching story and characters.

A Kickstarter campaign earlier this year saw 5819 backers raise $541,161 for an English release of the game. Almost ten months later the game will be available to play.
