Sony has announced that a bundle for PlayStation VR will go on sale for pre-orders at select retailers on Tuesday, March 22nd at 7 a.m. pacific time.
The bundle will sell for a MSRP of $499.99 and will include all of the contents of the regular PS VR box, as well as a PlayStation Camera, two PlayStation Move motion controllers and a disc copy of PS VR launch title, PlayStation VR Worlds.
On the same post, Sony referred to the bundle as “exclusively for pre-sale” and being restricted to “limited quantities,” although it was also revealed that if you miss getting one this time around, there will be another wave of pre-orders that will take place for this bundle over the summer.
Those looking for a pre-order for solely the core PSVR package aren’t getting great news though, as Sony wrote in the same post, “The core PS VR bundle, which has a suggested retail price of $399.99 USD / $549.99 CAD, is not available for pre-order.” It is unknown as this time whether Sony will announce pre-orders for the standalone PlayStation VR, or if it will be everyone for themselves when PS VR launches in October 2016.
