It has been discovered that the Xbox Japan listing for Kingdom Hearts III has disappeared online.
Thanks to @bKvEBVAvUq on Twitter, it has been found that the Xbox Japan listing for Kingdom Hearts III has vanished. When attempting to visit the page, an error message will appear, indicating that the page does not exist. Searching for the game on Xbox Japan’s website will only bring up a link for the missing game page. The title is still listed on Xbox Japan’s release schedule, although it appears that the schedule is not updated frequently.
There are a number of reasons as to why the page is no longer there. The page could have been taken down accidentally, or could have been given a new location. However, there is the possibility that the page was taken down on purpose. At the time of this writing, however, it is unknown why the page has vanished and if it will return.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is expected to release later this year. The set will include a new playable episode called Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, which will serve as a lead up to Kingdom Hearts III. The collection will also include Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, as well as Kingdom Hearts X [chi] Back Cover.
Kingdom Hearts III is set to release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
