It has been confirmed that Final Fantasy XV will support Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro at launch.

During a recent Active Time Report, director Hajime Tabata confirmed that the upcoming RPG will support the PS4 Pro. Tabata did not give any information on how the game will take advantage of the upgraded system. However, footage of Final Fantasy XV running on the PS4 Pro has surfaced online, which you can see below:

Tabata has revealed previously that Final Fantasy XV will have a massive open world to explore, but that the game will become linear at a certain point. He explained why he made the decision to have that occur in an interview: “I didn’t want the end game in an open world type of environment. At the very end, when the main character and the enemy are going against one another, there’s a build up in the story. I wanted to ensure that that last part was a little bit  different from the open world environment and more of a packed condensed type of game experience.”

Final Fantasy XV is set to launch on November 29th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PlayStation 4 Pro is also set to launch in November.
