Blizzard has announced that Heroic Tavern Brawl is coming to Hearthstone.
Heroic Brawl will allow Hearthstone players to play for in-game rewards. Those who participate will create a Standard deck and will lock it before their first match (once locked in, changes cannot be made). Once locked in, player will battle against other Heroic Brawlers, and aim for 12 wins. However, if they get 3 losses, they are out. Prizes include 50 packs, Gold, Arcane Dust, and three golden Legendaries. The rewards are different than what can be expected in the Arena, and get better as more games are won.
Heroic Brawl will only last for one normal Tavern Brawl week. Heroic Brawl has an entry fee of $9.99 or 1000 gold, and can be participated in for a limited number of completed runs. For those who do not want to play during the week, they can watch others Brawl through Spectator Mode. Tavern Brawl will go back to its regular schedule after the conclusion of the Heroic Tavern Brawl week. No official dates have been given for when to expect Heroic Brawl to take place, but Blizzard has stated that information should be coming soon.
Hearthstone is available on PC, as well as iOS and Android devices.
