There is a good reason why owners of the Xbox One had made such a huge deal when it came to getting backwards compatibility onto the system. It opens up so many doors by giving older titles a second chance to break out as well as players a second chance to experience a classic hit for the first time. In the past couple days, the list on Xbox One games via this system just got a bit bigger.

Before there was Skyrim, Bethesda’s predecessor had just as much of an open world and plenty of role-playing action with Oblivion. Now this remarkable title is available to play on the Xbox One with backwards compatibility. Anyone who is a fan of the Elder Scrolls series from Bethesda should take advantage of this, especially if they have never played Oblivion before.

This open world game is not the only one to be made newly available on the Xbox One. Our good friend Major Nelson also revealed that Medal of Honor: Airborne, Trine 2, and Astro Pop are now all playable on the latest Microsoft system. That is a wide variety to choose from if you’re looking for something new.  We look forward to seeing the next 360 games playable on the Xbox One. Hope you do too.
