During a recent Mortal Kombat X livestream from Netherrealm Studios, the developer confirmed that Jade won’t be returning to the roster for the new series’ entry.
Nether realm said Jade’s “spirit” will live on however through her childhood friend Kitana, who has specific moves inspired by the fighter. The company also said that the return of Brutalities as finishing moves may be in store for the game, which will be teased in the next livestream.
