Sony Pictures has a movie adaptation of Metal Gear Solid in the works, with writer Jay Basu in charge of the script. Avi and Ari Arad are on board as producers, while ‘The Kings of director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be at the helm.
It’s not known which areas of the Metal Gear Solid series the movie will tackle, but it seems entirely feasible that Solid Snake will be at the centre of the movie saga. This isn’t the first time that a Metal Gear Solid film has been mooted, but it seems that this project has the greenlight.
There is no release date or star pinned down for the Metal Gear Solid movie as yet.
