For those of you that don’t know, the Splatoon Global Testfire was held over the weekend. People who participated had the choice to pre-order the game via eShop and get some exclusive gear. That sounds great and all, except the gear was only for the demo, which could only be played at certain times.
Now that the demo play times are over, who ever got the gear is out of luck and can no longer use it.
It is very odd that Nintendo would out give demo-exclusive content, especially since the game could only be played for 2 days, 1 hour the first day, and 2 separate hours . The gear can not be transferred to the full version of the game, and is now gone forever.
Splatoon can be pre-purchased from the eShop for $59.99 USD (not including tax).
