Blizzard Entertainment have released a new video this week showing off the Overwatch character of Pharah, and her skills being put to use in a ten minute matchup.
The gameplay shows Pharah, real name Fareeha Amari, taking to the skies with her jetpack and armed with her rocket launcher in an; “unedited match from an early version of Overwatch, captured in 60fps.” This footage was captured on the PC.
The game shows players taking part in a “Payload” map on Watchpoint: Gibraltar. It shows her working alongside some of the other unveiled characters of Overwatch and how they work together, or alone, on the defense of their objective.
Pharah’s abilities aren’t limited to her flight and rocket launcher though. Her concussive round can cause real problems for shields, while her ultimate ability of barrage will bring down groups of attackers.
Overwatch is being developed for PC and Mac, no release date has been announced yet.
