Rocket League, the “rocket-powered car sports” game by Psyonix, will be joining an elite few when it releases on July 7th, 2015. It will be one of few to offer cross-play support between its available platforms, the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PC, for online play. Psyonix has also stated that dedicated servers will be supporting the online multiplayer. Though some titles have included this feature in the past, it is seldom seen.

Should online play not suit your interests, Psyonix successor to their title Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars will offer up to 4-player split screen on PS4. Those controlling their maddeningly insane hot-rod on PS4 will also be privy to a platform exclusive Sweet-Tooth car from the Twisted Metal series.

Car customization will also be a focus in the upcoming title. Rocket League totes over 10 billion possible combinations for players to choose from.
