Several months back Apple released iOS 8 and that unfortunately rendered several games unplayable; the biggest being a game that I truly loved: The World Ends With You. In February of this year, the iTunes store pulled the game from being purchasable so that people wouldn’t be able to buy a broken game even with a notice from Square Enix saying that the game was completely broken.
Fortunately, if you don’t have a DS; in which I highly suggest getting this game for the DS, you can now purchase or download this game again as has been tweaked in the long 4 months of its hiatus from the iTunes store and is now working for iOS 8 and above.
If you already have a copy of the game, you won’t need to buy it again; and will just have to re-download or update it to the 1.2.1 patch.
I really loved TWEWY, it’s one of my favorite games on the DS and it’s always left a mark in my mind; I wrote a feature about why it did here!
Again, if you haven’t played it yet and have a DS, try to find a copy of this game! If not, then you should definitely pick up Solo Remix; it changes the gameplay quite a bit but it’s still an enjoyable experience.
