Team Fortress 2 is a free to play game released by Valve. Like most Valve games, it is moddable – and some people like to take things a little too far.
Why would anyone want to mod Team Fortress 2 to work exactly like Splatoon? Well, it beats me. But someone has gone and done it.

The mod, which plays almost exactly like Splatoon, isn’t a competitor, but it would be a good way to get your fix of Splatoon when you’re away from your Wii U. Any modding is impressive, though, and hats are off to the team working away to re-create Splatoon.
At least you could save a few hundred now if you don’t already own a Wii U and Splatoon. Gaming PC? Team Fortress 2? might as well play Splat Fortress.
