While this isn’t the first heavy metal Witcher 3 cover we’ve seen, it is by far my personal favourite!
The new YouTube video uploaded by Chris Tranmer is rather impressive. Tranmer decided to do a cover of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s song ‘Sword of Destiny’ with a new metal flair. While distortion and double bass pedals aren’t in the original they do fit well with Chris’ cover!

I’ve wanted to do a cover of this for a while and I’ve finally got around to doing it, very pleased with how it turned out.
The video even caught the attention of Witcher 3 developers CD Projekt Red, who shared the video through their official Twitter account. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt launched back in May for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & PC, during it’s first two weeks it sold more than 4 million copies. The game’s free DLC campaign wrapped everything up with a New Game Plus mode and the first of it’s two paid expansions will be released in October .
