On both Amazon US and UK sites, they have listed Minecraft: Story Mode set to be released on October 27, and October 30 2015. The release is planned to be on most platforms such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. The disc will get a retail release of the first episode, but users will have to download the rest of the episodes as they are released by Telltale.
As of yet, Telltale hasn’t stated if these dates are correct. We expect to get word from Telltale very shortly. As of right now, these dates are still rumored.
Minecraft: Story Mode was first announced in December 2014, as a collabaration between Mojang and Telltale. Together they plan on releasing an adventure story that’s fitting within the world of Minecraft.
