In less then a week, the Wii U game Super Mario Maker has over 1 million created courses by gamers. Nintendo announced the impressive milestone on it’s Japanese twitter account. The level-building design game was released for the 30th anniversary of Super Mario that was released 30 years ago this September.

The recent Nintendo release has received high praise from many review outlets including IGN, GameSpot and several other video game sites. Super Mario Maker is currently sitting at an 89 meta-critic score. Which makes it one of the highest reviewed games on the platform and of the year.

Super Mario Maker is expected to have continued support from Nintendo with creators like the legendary Shigeru Miyamoto posting a level/levels eventually.
