With Rise of the Tomb Raider set to make its initial release in just a few weeks, Microsoft has released a new launch trailer setting up just what’s at stake in Lara’s next adventure. Following in her father’s footsteps, Lara has found what may be the secret to immortality, along with the evil organization connected to it.
Titled, “Make Your Mark,” the trailer is set to the new, original song “I Shall Rise,” sung by Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O. The song, now available on all major digital music stores, is the first Karen O has written for a video game.
Crystal Dynamics put together a preview earlier this week, breaking down how combat works in the new game, including weapons, skills, and even crafting. Rise of the Tomb Raider will release first on Xbox One on November 10th, followed by a PC release in Spring 2016, and a PS4 release in Fall 2016.
