Thanks to the prying and vigilant eyes of the internet, some screen grabs of unannounced Amiibo figures have been revealed by Toys R Us. The tips were sent to AmiiboAlerts with some incriminating images of the scandalous new figures. The reveal list includes Ryu, Roy, Famicom R.O.B, Timmy & Tommy Nook, Rover and Kapp’n. However, they haven’t been confirmed to be in the next wave which includes Lucas, Wolf Link, Kicks, Resetti, Blathers and Celeste. All of which had been revealed in the Nintendo Direct on Thursday. Regardless, here’s what the revealed ones look like:
As you can see, Roy has a big ol’ Gamestop exclusive stamp on him and the Nook siblings are Target exclusive. These are for the American releases. The next wave of Amiibo for the US is planned for a January release. Japan is to have the wave in early December while Europe is still up in the air. That said, I’m readying my money for Ryu.
