Images of HTC’s Vive consumer version have been leaked. The leak via Reddit three days ago and allegedly came straight from HTC’s own website. Shortly after images of the new platform’s consoles were also uncovered by a Reddit thread.

In response to these leaks, HTC and Valve have announced that next month will hold a massive reveal for the headset. This reveal promises to showcase a “huge technological breakthrough” for their upcoming device at CES, which will undoubted build hype until the headset’s full consumer release.

This news comes after reports of the headset’s release being delayed from the end of this year to next April. The Vive will be one of three virtual reality headsets to launch next year, along with the Facebook owned Oculus Rift and Sony’s own PlayStation VR interface.
