Kinda Funny Games was present at PlayStation Experience, with Greg Miller doing interviews with several established members of the industry. The one on one interview series, PS I LOVE YOU XOXO, sat down with Shuhei Yoshida.

Shuhei Yoshida is the boss of Sony Worldwide studios, and one of the most recognizable faces of PlayStation. Greg Miller covered several things with Shuhei Yoshida, including the hardest part of running the company(Jetlag, according to Shuhei Yoshida), and what its like to be away from his family so much. Greg Miller and Shuhei Yoshida also talked about the PlayStation VR.

One of the more notable part of the interviews was when Shuhei Yoshida opened up about the hate he experiences from Twitter, and how it effects him. Shuhei Yoshida is fairly open on his Twitter account, sharing as much as he can about the game. Reaching out to the fan base through social media can cause people to lash out at the developer, and Shuhei Yoshida, the boss of PlayStation, is no exception.

“It’s a tough job but it’s a fun job as well, […] “It’s been great to be able to talk directly to people. And we get an immediate response… from people, whatever we announce.” Shuhei Yoshida noted that most of the reaction on Twitter is positive, but he still receives a fair amount of hate.

He later opened up about how it was more difficult the last few days. “To be honest, the last couple of days were tough because I can see some pain from the people who are expecting some announcement that didn’t happen,” he added, “These people feel ignored.”
