For fans of the Halo series, you might want to keep an eye on the new Xbox One 2016 lineup. Joseph Staten, who was known for writing part of the Halo series, has joined the ReCore team.

Joseph Staten left Bungie only 2 years ago, after spending 15 years at the company. He will be joining Keiji Inafune, the creator of Mega Man to work on the project.

We don’t have a lot of details on ReCore, a 2016 Xbox One exclusive, but we do know that the project is a collaboration between Comcept and Armature studios. Comcept is run by Keiji Inafune, creator of the Mega Man series, while Armature currently employs developers who worked on Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate, and the Mega Man X spinoff series.

ReCore will focus around a barren wasteland in which robotic entities are controlled by spherical energy.
