New Xbox 360 titles added to Xbox One’s backwards compatibility feature for the month of January 2016 are imminent according to Phil Spencer.
Asked by a Twitter user when the list of games for this month would be announced, Spencer replied by saying “Have a couple more games doing the final run through on, wanted to wait until we had the full list, not too much longer.”
Backwards compatibility originally launched in November 2015 for Xbox One with 104 titles, followed by an additional 16 titles in the month of December. According to GameSpot, the top five requested titles for the service include Call of Duty: Black Ops II, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops. Only the latter has confirmed to be coming to the service so far.
