Only a few days after the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the original voice for Boba Fett died. He was 95, and died on Christmas Day.
Jason Wingreen was uncredited for voicing Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back, Wingreen also had an appearance in the 1980 film Airplane!.
Starting back in the 1960’s, Jason Wingreen was a voting member in The Academy Awards. Jason Wingreen had over 50 cameo’s on Television from 1955 to 1994. The roles ranged from Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek to Seinfeld. According to IMBD, he has 187 credits across Film and Television.
Wingreen’s most recent appearance was In the Heat of the Night back in 1994. He played the role of George ‘Georgie’ Sparkman.
It is unclear whether or not Jason Wingreen would have an influence on the upcoming Boba Fett spinoff movie.
