Fans of Star Wars are being treated to a number of movies in the near future, with a Han Solo based origin film being one of them.
Disney and LucasFilm have auditioned over 2,500 actors for the role of a young Han Solo.
They have narrowed the list down to about a dozen actors according to Variety‘s sources, with the following being mentioned. Miles Teller(Whiplash), Ansel Elgort(The Fault in Our Stars), Dave Franco(21 Jump Street), Jack Reynor(Transformers: Age of Extinction), Scott Eastwood(Suicide Squad), Logan Lerman(Fury), Emory Cohen(The Place Beyond the Pines), and Blake Jenner(Glee).
Although Blake Jenner and Scott Eastwood certainly look the part of a young Han Solo, Miles Teller incredible performance in Whiplash should have him as shoe in for the role.
Filming for the Next Star Wars film (Episode IX) is set to start in the next few weeks.
