The integration of Cortana, the virtual assistant featured on Windows 10 devices, has been planned for Xbox One for quite some time.

A curious Twitter user sparked a small status update today when asking for any update on the integration.

Direction of Programming Management for Xbox, Mike Ybarra, responded to Twitter user LODsqua, saying “Saw a demo from the team today, coming along great.”

Obviously this isn’t anything substantial, it is a step in the right direction for Xbox One users to be able interface Microsoft’s console using voice commands through Cortana, similar to Window’s 10 devices.
