The HTC Vive started pre-orders just the other day, and according to developer Shen Ye it sold 15,000 in less then 10 minutes.

The information came via Twitter, where Shen Ye shared yesterday evening the great news.

With Virtual Reality just starting out, so far this is one of the only comapnies to share sales figures so quickly. Oculus Rift started pre-orders in January, and has yet to share numbers.

Included in the pre-order is the Vive headset, two wireless controllers, two base stations, link box, earbuds, accessories, a safety guide and a warranty guard. Along with the standard packaging, the pre-order is offering a limited offer free content bundle. The bundle will include Job Simulator, Fantastic Contraption, and Tilt Brush by Google.
