Paragon is the third person MOBA currently in development by Epic Games.

Like most MOBAs, the game will rely on micro transactions from skins, emotes, and other cosmetic purchases to stay afloat.

According to one of the lead developers on Paragon, all of the champions will be free for users. This will follow Dota 2’s model, of not having to pay anything to win the game.

Early Access to Paragaon, however, you will have to pay for. Thankfully this doesn’t just give you early access to the game – you also get skins and other cosmetic accessories. (source)

Purchasing the Early Access will cost you $19.99, $59.99, or $99.99.

  • Founder’s Pack – $19.99: Early Access, skins, boosts, and other cosmetic items that are unlockable by playing.
  • Challenger Pack – $59.99 & Master Pack – $99.99:  Early Access, a lot of skins, boosts, a unique skin, and a Founder’s Pack to give to a friend.

Early access begins March 18th for Paragon, and beta is starting this summer.
