Titled Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, PopCap has made the move of pulling the Plants Vs. Zombies universe into a card game on mobile devices. Cited to have been in production over two years ago when creative director, Devin Low, created a paper card game prototype in his spare time.
The current lineup of classes and characters from the Plants vs. Zombies universe include classics and even some of the new characters from Garden Warfare 2. This includes the Super Brainz, Z-Mech, Citron and Rose. You will be able to play as either a zombie hero or a plant hero.
As of now, the game is available in certain ‘select territories’ with worldwide release still coming around. Plants vs. Zombies Heroes is a free to play mobile game that allows you to purchase in-game currency, ‘gems’, in order to purchase card packs to build decks with.
