Rocket League has continued to impress gamers everywhere with it’s exciting gameplay. It was hard to believe soccer could be played with cars, but Psyonix proved us wrong. Now the game is being extended to go beyond soccer. Maybe to a game with a bit more madness.
The holiday season of 2015 saw the addition of ice hockey to the world of Rocket League. Now the award winning title wants to extend even further into the sports world. A tweet from the official Rocket League twitter stated “March Madness is just around the corner. Great time to tease the mode we’re working on next #RocketLeagueHoops.” That’s right, Psyonix has finally recognized that ball is truly life, with the edition of a basketball mode.
No word yet on exactly when this will be added. If it proves as successful as ice hockey, we may see the mode get a permanent spot.
