The final, and biggest, free content update for Halo 5, Warzone Firefight will officially launch Wednesday, June 29. While the patch brings new maps, a new Score Attack campaign feature, and new REQs, the main attraction is the Warzone Firefight mode itself. To celebrate however, 343 and Microsoft are offering free access to Halo 5: Guardians as part of another Free Play Days.

Available to any Xbox Live Gold members, the entire game, including the campaign, will be available for free from June 29 to July 5. During the same time, the game will be on sale for 50% off for you to buy and keep playing after the Free Play event ends. “There’s no better time to join the Spartan ranks!” Microsoft says in the announcement on Xbox Wire.

Inspired by the classic co-op horde mode first introduced in Halo 3 ODST, Warzone Firefight includes all the bells and whistles. Since the beta held for the game mode back in April, 343 has made changes including “increasing the difficulty each round and adding brand new bosses and vehicles – including the hilarious (and deadly) Grunt Goblin boss and the powerful UNSC VTOL, AV-49 Wasp.”

When it comes to the normal competitive modes though, the update introduces three new maps. Players will return to the Covenant homeworld of Sanghelios for the Warzone map Attack on Sanctum, while Prospect is a Warzone Assualt map and Molten is an Arena map.

Meanwhile in the new Score Attack mode for the campaign, players can tackle missions solo or in co-op, and the points can be measured against your friends. The more stylish your kills, the more points you’ll rack up.
