GameStop is offering a limited-time trade-in deal that’ll let you get your hands on a PS4 Slim or Xbox One S for only $175.
If you trade in your old PS4 or Xbox One, you’ll earn $125 credit toward the purchase of any new hardware. Currently, the newly released PS4 Slim and Xbox One S are priced at $300. Consumers who are interested should act quickly because the deal only lasts until September 20.
The retailer recommends contacting your local store and speaking with an associate for the full terms and conditions of the offer.
The Xbox One S launched back in August and the PS4 Slim released today, September 15. Both consoles are sleeker versions of the originals that launched back in 2013.
Microsoft and Sony have both announced the next iteration of their respective current-generation consoles – Microsoft’s Xbox Scorpio and Sony’s PS4 Pro. Each will support 4k resolution, HDR, and include improved hardware. The PS4 Pro launches November 10 this year, starting at $400. Microsoft has yet to reveal a release date for the Scorpio, but it is expected to launch later in 2017.
