Pokemon has made a huge leap back into our lives this past year. Pokemon Go was announced and released as the first handheld game with Nintendo’s name on it. Sun and Moon were both announced and have already gained a lot of anticipation. Becoming a true master is going to become difficult when they are finally released. There is potential, however, that you may have an advantage if you are a pro on the Go.

While nothing has been confirmed in regards to Pokemon Sun and Moon connecting in some way to the Go app, this is something that fans have been speculating for quite some time. Long time Pokemon developer and composer Junichi Masuda, who is currently a producer on Sun and Moon, was recently asked about this. “It’s definitely not off the table,” he stated. “We’re still thinking about the best way to establish this kind of connectivity and what the best timing will be. First, we just want people to enjoy Sun and Moon after they come out, then we’ll keep working on ideas to best accomplish that.”

So this match made in heaven will not be out at launch, but it could still come later on. Pokemon Masters of the world have a lot to look forward to.
