The first Injustice game brought together a fantastic ensemble cast of DC superheroes, villains, and a special guest from Mortal Kombat, and put them all together to do battle against one another. With Injustice 2 on the horizon, the developers at NetherRealm Studios are looking to expand the impressive roster even more. Lucky for us, they are letting the fans have a say in the unlikely group they are looking to take from.
It may not be obvious, as they certainly aren’t part of the Justice League or anything like that, but the Watchmen are part of the DC Universe. If you never heard of them, they are a crime fighting group set in an alternate reality where the United States won the war in Vietnam and Richard Nixon is president for four terms. Wacky right? Perhaps its time they actually met up with some of the more well known fighters in Injustice 2.
The Watchmen story has a huge following and Ed Boon, the game’s director, wants to know just how many people want to see them duke it out. He posted a survey on Twitter asking this very question. So if you want to see any characters from Watchmen in Injustice 2, get on Twitter and vote.
