A number of fixes are on the way for the console versions of Stardew Valley.

Though the RPG recently released on console, a few issues have already been found. Developer ConcernedApe has announced that patches for those issues are on the way, which include:

  • Game crashes when going to sleep around the 3rd day, if the system language is not English. (PlayStation 4)
  • Game crashes in certain cases if the Exit to Title button was used. (Xbox One)
  • Occasional hitching/freezing in the Xbox One version
  • GUI elements cut off on the edges of the screen on certain TV setups
  • Control improvements

A thread in the game’s forums with known bugs and workarounds has been started.

Stardew Valley recently released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Earlier this month, developer ConcernedApe dropped the possibility of a Wii U release. Instead, the game will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. ConcernedApe stated: “I am really looking forward to the Switch, and I believe that the Switch’s unique capabilities could create some exciting opportunities for Stardew Valley. I don’t want to emphasize that I am absolutely committed to seeing Stardew Valley on Nintendo platforms, and I really do appreciate your support and understanding in this.”

Stardew Valley is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
