In a Reddit post, a Halo Fan going by TheOriginalNT told the story of his recent time with The Master Chief Collection, and his experience with its game breaking glitches. The game freezes, crashes, and generally doesn’t work very well with forge and custom games.
In a reply, Brian Jarrard, Community Lead at Bungie.net, going under the name ske7ch343 on Reddit, has addressed the issues, and talked about how he himself cares about the community’s feedback. “Regarding MCC, you’re not out of line for asking for a game you love to be as good as it can be. As I’ve stated before, there are a lot of legitimate issues and while it’s unfortunate that some people have been driven to such extreme measures of expressing their dissatisfaction it doesn’t mean the game isn’t without its problems.”
He talks about how he will keep these problems at the top of his mind for the new year, and reminds fans that they aren’t forgotten. However, he also says, “I wish I had definitive info for you but right now the future of MCC is still unknown but I wouldn’t say the ship has totally sailed yet.”
It’s possible that the team has no idea where they’re going next, or he simply isn’t allowed to talk about the future with fans yet.
