South Korean Indie Developer, Netker Inc. has announced that their game, Versus: Battle of the Gladiator, is now available on Steam. The multiplayer, melee action game is now a free to play title after being greenlit on the service’s Green Light system and spending five months on Steam Early Access.
The Steam page for the game gives players more information on what they can expect from Verses. The page states, “Versus: Battle of the Gladiator is an MO PvP action game. You’re a slave gladiator captured by Claderan empire, the conqueror of the world. Fight alone, or team up with others in a bloody gladiatorial battle to prove your strength.”
Versus features a third person melee combat system in real time. “Each attack has unique traits, strengths and weaknesses, which turns each match into a dynamic and complex mind game.” The game also features armor destruction and weapon tracing allowing for a realistic and dynamic presentation. Along with these features, Versus even contains over a hundred weapons and armor sets that players can craft and collect, a variety of combat skills, as well as a large number of maps and game modes.
