In the wake of multiple teases for the upcoming DLC by Visceral Games, they’ve officially announced everything that’s been hinted at for the upcoming expansion, dubbed Criminal Activity.
The DLC expansion will include new maps, vehicles, gear, guns, and the new Bounty Hunter mode. Six new masks are also included, two of which are animal masks: a horrifying looking rabbit and a gorilla one. While they Visceral didn’t provide any information surround the new game mode, they did provide a synopsis for the backdrop of the expansion’s story:
“Detectives have uncovered evidence of a secret crime ring that could be behind all of this activity. They’re not sure why anyone would coordinate these goals – in a number of cases, the take seems to be smaller than the risk. But, orders have come down the chain to find out what’s going on and put a stop to it. Will you help the police?”

- Four fast-paced new maps – Backwoods, Code Blue, The Beat and Black Friday
- Two new rides
- Two new ammunition types for specific weapons
- A new gadget
- Three new weapons
- A nailgun battlepickup
- New Bounty Hunter game mode
- Six new masks: two animal masks, and four new police headgear options
The expansion launches in June across all platforms for an unknown price. If you have Battlefield Premium ($50) however, you’ll get it for free and have early access to the content.
