Running now through Thursday May 26, GTA Online is hosting a week of bonus rewards and huge discounts. Capture Week features an 8-player Double RP Capture playlist, available today through the remainder of the event including Contend: Condo-monium, GTA: Grab a Cab, and Hold: Freight Fight.
The event is also offering 50% off the Luxor Deluxe, all Kurumas, select engine mods and brakes, heist clothing, and explosives. But that’s not all. “Simply log in to GTA Online at any point this week to unlock an exclusive in-game t-shirt for the Solomon Richards’ box office hit ‘Meltdown’. This t-shirt is only available as part of Capture Week, so don’t miss out,” Rockstar says in the event announcement.
Events like these are only part of the continuing support Rockstar has given Grand Theft Auto V. Despite the rather vocal objection to microtransactions in the video games industry, a report surfaced last month saying GTA Online has pulled in over $500 million though microtransactions.
