Heroes of the Storm got its full release date confirmed a few weeks ago. The release is set for June 2nd and Blizzard has already started adding to the roster of playable heroes from their multi-verse. The Lord of the Blood Elves, Kael’thas Sunstrider, is next in line for an appearance in the game. Warcraft veterans will remember him from the dungeon, The Eye, and again from the end of the Magister’s Terrace encounter. There’s not much information on it at the moment but hero designers John Hodgson and Kent-Erik Hagman will be hosting a live QandA on Reddit on May 12th at 2:30 pm PST.

Heroes of the Storm is currently in closed beta. It will move to open beta on May 20th before its full launch on June 2nd as mentioned before.

Have you been playing the Heroes of the Storm beta? Are you looking forward to seeing what Kael has got up his blood elf sleeves? Could this be a segue into launching an Ashes of Alar mount for the game too? Let me know what you’re thinking!

I see this is the talk of everyone . It is going to be on june 2? I hope it doesn’t get delayed cause I think that delay of the movie is the one that caused the loose of players.

I really really doubt the game will be delayed, the alpha and beta tests have been really successful and the game looks polished and complete. We’ll probably see a few more announcements like this in the coming weeks just to fill up the hero roster a little bit, but June 2 is definitely the date to check out Heroes of the Storm, or I’ll eat my Blizzard hat.
