At the Square Enix E3 conference, the studio showed off the upcoming Kingdom Hearts 3. In it we, received a few reveals.
Square Enix has revealed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will feature a world based upon Tangled. The announcement came before a trailer was released, which showed us a bit of what to expect from the upcoming title.
In the trailer, we see one of the Titans from Hercules, along with the walled city that was in the first Kingdom Hearts 3 demo. We get a good look at what traversing will look like in the game, as Sora dives, climbs, and runs up walls. We also see Sora summon Pegasus, and ride in a chariot pulled by the winged horse while dispatching numerous Heartless.
Another reveal included Sora’s ability to transform his Keyblade, turning it into duel-wielded pistols and a giant two-handed sword. We also see a group attack with Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Not much about the game’s plot was revealed, though the trailer did feature Xenahort and Eraqus discussing the Keyblade War over a game of chess.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game does not have a release date as of yet.
