With Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher promoting a Star Wars film, Comic-Con seemed to find itself in a time warp recently.
Fans of the franchise were treated to a behind the scenes video (above), which highlighted the use of good old fashioned movie making techniques, such as real locations, sets and costumes.
Of course the film is going to take advantage of modern techniques as well – but it’s nice to see this level of dedication.
The video also has some of the actors old and new expressing their thoughts, obviously they’re all positive – this is promotional material after all. Simon Pegg states “My whole life has led to this moment…. I’m in heaven.” And Carrie Fisher saying “It couldn’t be more exciting”.
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is coming out in cinemas this December.
