It was revealed on ASTRO Gaming’s website last night that they will be partnering up with Activision as the official headset for Call of Duty Black Ops 3.
ASTRO has been featured numerous times in the past during Call of Duty tournaments, most notably as the preferred headset for popular competitors and champions, OpTic Gaming.
“Becoming the official headsets of Black Ops III made sense for us, and for our fans as the next natural step,” the official statement exclaims on the ASTRO website.
As of right now, what this means for casual players is unknown. Black Ops 3 related gear will not be announced until Pax Prime later this year.
ASTRO Gaming is a high-end headset developer, known for their precision in sound mixing and high quality audio control.
