SUPERHOT was originally created as a prototype for the 7 Day First Person Shooter game jam project in August 2013 before picking up traction and fans and being made into a full game. The premise is that time only moves when you do, creating a strange blend of puzzle and action gameplay as you dodge around incoming shots and contemplate your next move.

Thanks to Kickstarter, SUPERHOT is now well on its way to being a fully fledged game, and a beta has been dispatched to backers. This gameplay is from that beta, and shows some serious progress made since the prototype, with more levels, weapons and features than the barebones original:

The original prototype is available in all its striking red and white glory for free from your browser here. For more information, check out the matching, striking website here. SUPERHOT will be released in 2015 for PC and Xbox One.
