Nintendo announced today the The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, the newest installment of the Zelda franchise for 3DS, will be released October 23.
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes features gameplay reminiscent of that of The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. You can play with up to three friends to explore dungeons and slay monsters. While the game has a heavy multiplayer focus, it can still be enjoyed alone.
The game was announced at this year’s E3 during Nintendo’s Digital Event. Hiromasa Shikata, who also worked on The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for the DS, will be directing the game.
